Welcome to Convertia, an AI-powered image transformation app developed by Techtalk Studio. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

• Image Data

  • Original images you upload are processed in memory only and are never stored after processing.
  • Transformed images generated from your uploads are stored securely in Supabase Storage so you can view or download them later.

• Face Data

  • If an uploaded image contains a face, the facial data is processed only in memory and discarded immediately after the transformation is complete.
  • Transformed images may include artistic representations of faces. These transformed images are considered user-generated content and stored securely in Supabase Storage for up to 30 days so you can re-download them. After 30 days, they are permanently deleted.
  • Face data is used exclusively to apply artistic transformations and is not used for biometric identification, recognition, or profiling.
  • We do not create or store biometric identifiers or facial templates.

• Name and Email

  Collected via authentication providers (e.g., Google Sign-In) to identify and manage user accounts securely.

• Subscription & Purchase Data

  Managed via RevenueCat and Google Play Billing to handle in-app purchases and subscription status.

• Advertising and Analytics Data

  When you use the free, ad-supported version of the app, Google AdMob (via react-native-google-mobile-ads) may collect limited device information such as your Advertising ID, app interactions, approximate location, and general device metadata (e.g., model, OS version) to deliver and measure ads.

  This data is handled according to Google’s Privacy Policy and may be used for ad personalization only if you have granted consent.

2. Use of Permissions

• Camera Access – Used only when you choose to take or upload an image for transformation.
• Internet Access – Required to process AI transformations, show ads, and sync user data.
• Storage Access – May be required to save converted images to your device.
• AD ID Access – Used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads in compliance with Play Store policies.
